Yeah, I've got kids, and I'm married. SURPRISE

"OMG! You have kids?"

Um, why yes I do. I have 2 children. A 6 year old boy, and a little girl who will be 5 this month. I've also been married for 7 years.

"Oh, your a military spouse? I'm sorry."

Your sorry? HA! I am sorry for you! I GET to leave! Seriously though, I LOVE being a military wife. Within the last 7 years of marriage I have lived in Florida, Japan, Washington, California and Mississippi.

It at times blows my mind, that it blows OTHER peoples minds that I have kids. I'll appreciate the fact people think I am so young at that time when I am 50.

For now, I don't know. This is who I am people. You may or may NOT believe but I don't share EVERYTHING via social media. I like to keep my children safe. I also don't believe (and feel the need) to let the world know when my husband is deployed. Its giving a green light for the lunatics out there. Also there is a little thing in the military called OPSEC. If you're a military spouse, and post when your husband is leaving & coming home via the internet, well I guess you are ignorant of it, or just plain stupid. It's just not for YOUR safety but the safety of an entire ship/battalion/unit. Unless its in the newspaper (some arrivals are kinda big deals :) ), then share away. But you know what I mean….

 

Purpose of this post Christina? Just a reminder that I am a grown ass woman. "Hi!", yeah, some people forget. Also I miss my family very much right now.

Again, this is a post to say, "Hi, My name is Christina. Along with being a Coach, I am as well a Domestic Engineer, though maybe not a great one. I am obsessed with my family and I miss them. At the same time I know how to function on my own. Also thank you to my IN-LAWs for watching my babes as I work and make dreams come true"

I would do the whole mushy "I love my husband" thing, but then Mark MIGHT read this and think that  I went and bought an RV, because this would be completely out of character. I don't need the internet to profess my love, but I do need the internet to post funny photos of him.

Hehehhehe…. you look like an elf…… Muahahahahhahaahah

NOTE: I am sure there are at least 20 people that will read this and will have had no clue that I had kids and or were married. SURPRISE! <----- Don't let anyone ever say I never did anything special for you. Surprises are kinda a big deal.
