You didn't think you'd hear that outta my mouth, did ya? Well you DIDN'T, you read it! Ha!

No but for real, I'm pooped y'all! IMAZ is in a couple of weeks and I am happy to be heading into taper. I love training. I love Ironman. But 2 Ironman, 2 Half Ironman, 1 marathon, and several smaller tri's later and well, yeah, I'm tired. And hungry. I could literally eat an entire horse right now. Mmm, like craving it! Craving meat. Good grief!

So this is when you know you've had a solid training cycle, when you're tired. 3-4 weeks out, you SHOULD be tired. And hungry. And probably very moody. But then you taper, and recover and rest, and before you know it, you're tapping your toes and getting FIRED up to hit your race. Oh yes, the joy of an Ironman training cycle. I am right where I'm supposed to be. (which is usually collapsed on the floor with Jake every evening). <--- for real, the other night I fell asleep there until 3 a.m.!!

I just wanted to let y'all know that no, I am in fact NOT super human. These longggg hours ARE wearing me down and I AM tired. I am happy, but tired for sure. In no time, I'll be bouncing off these walls and headed to Arizona... :D :D :D :D
