If You Never Tri, You'll Never Know!

My name is Peggy Schloegel ...

Aka the pegster ...

I'm one of those midlife single moms doing tri's! I have a 25 yr old son.

I have worked as a medical insurance biller for a local dr for the past 16 years.

I love tri's because I like the challenge. I like to push myself, to see what I can do. I love the Tri community. The support, friendship, they are willing to help you become better. It's a unique family!

As for myself, I grew up in Pass Christian; still live in The Pass. I did live in north west Arkansas for 3 yrs. I loved it & miss it. I used to ride mountain bikes. In my spare time I play with my dog Rodda. I like to read poetry & murder mystery. I like to write poetry.

I would like to say my major Tri accomplishment was One Coast because that was my longest swim yet ever!! However, I have to say my biggest accomplishment is Tradition's Tri last year because that was my 1st open water swim and my longest at the time. Had I not finished that "swim" I would not be where I am today....

Training for my first 1/2 Ironman.
