The Pancake Pantry
I'm doing a quick post on this place for ONE reason: cinnamon cream syrup.
OH MY GOODNESS, where has this been my whole life!?
I found a recipe though and I'm making it ASAP. But if you get to it before I do, please deliver to my HOUSE!!
Ingredients:
5 tablespoons butter
1 cup heavy cream
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon maple flavored extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions:
In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in cream, brown sugar, maple extract and cinnamon. Cook, whisking constantly, until sugar dissolves and mixture thickens slightly, about 3 to 4 minutes. Serve warm.

Okay, so a quick review on the place...
The Pancake Pantry in Nashville, TN. Apparently it's a tradition and it's all homemade family recipes.
The atmosphere is loud, a lot going on, too much for me... so we opted for take out. It took about 15 minutes. I created my own omelet with lots of veggies, bacon, and cheese. Bonus: it comes with their famous pancakes! More bonus: cinnamon cream syrup. WOW, that stuff is AmAzInG!!
Dave ordered a BLT with a fried egg on top. Opening our boxes, we were surprised by the amount of food. Lots of bang for your buck ~AND, reasonable prices! Everything was nice and warm and FRESH. And delicious!! So even though the place itself was loud and busy, the food was incredible and greatly enjoyed on our own...
I give it a seal of approval and would definitely go back for more...
