If You Never Tri, You'll Never Know!

9/11

9-11-01

We watched in awe as two airplanes struck our World Trade Center. We were in denial hearing of the Pentagon attack and unknowing of the attack yet so proud of our passengers for taking down the 4th plane in a field in Pennsylvania.
We all remember exactly where we were, what we were doing, and who we were with.
We all share a similar story of disbelief, anger, PAIN.
That day has changed our lives forever.

America froze.
And then we exploded...
We stood up for our freedom. We reunited as a country. We put flags in our yards, store windows, and on our cars. Brave men and women went to war to fight for no other reason than to protect our nation.

It's been 13 years.
2,996 immediate deaths on 9/11/2001
6,808 Soldiers have died in the wars that followed.
The greatest act of terrorism in history. In OUR history.

This day will always ignite courage and grief in my heart.
We lived through a day in history where there is no forgetting.
And we proved, there is no surrendering.

A prayer for lives lost.
