Camping Adventure Take 1: The Beach

**You know you are EARLY to the beach when you roll in with all the morning surfers.**

(LISA) Sometimes ya' need a perfect opportunity for a mini trip camping beach getaway...

In our case, many of our local friends were racing the Gulf Coast Triathlon in Panama City, Florida. Instead of hefty hotel fees, we opted to pitch a tent!

And so begins our Beach Camping Adventure...

Two crazy tri girls, two crazy kids, one crazy dog, two State Parks, one tent; ONE BLOG POST JUST ISN'T GOING TO CUT IT. So set your alarm, because we are going to fill your heads with our crazy Beach Camping Adventures for the next few days…

(Christina) Just wanted to make note that the chilling bum in the above photo is a local surfer. Not one of us. At the point the photo was taken, I was absorbing the moment. Only the surfers were out. The kids, Lisa, and Jake the dog were running around in the background. Behind me, a slew of surfers were trying to catch the best morning waves…

It was a peaceful quiet moment. Not even 24 hours into our first camping adventure we already had, "Are you frigging kidding me?!" moments. So it was nice to just sit and watch the waves...

Waves. It was somewhat of a California beach morning...

I'm excited for you to read about our adventures this past weekend. Not only was it fun and crazy, but we both had some personal revelations.
