If You Never Tri, You'll Never Know!

What I Learned in 2014

Runningfrom2014to2015
I live my life not just for me, but for you too. Of course I'm selfish in my own ways but most of my decisions in life and need for more are to make a difference in the world or your life. I want to and strive to make a social impact, motivate, inspire growth, and EMPOWER. I don't live selfishly to do whatever I want and demand ME ME ME. I am as much here for you as I am here for myself. Being a part of your world (for 5 minutes, 5 days, or for life) is what I want for US. And I kind of feel like anything otherwise is arrogant and selfish.

The more I worked and lived through 2014, the stronger I felt (feel) about how right this way of life is for me. I'm so happy about where I am right in this moment. I don't remember what my resolutions were for the year, but I feel like I probably surpassed them. I have come out on the other side of this year stronger and healthier than I've ever been in my life. I have more compassion, understanding, and forgiveness has become a huge player in my game. I've learned so much about myself and become more and more okay with who I am.

So what did I learn in 2014? Let the list begin:
I love lists!
Holy moly, I signed up for and completed THREE Ironman!!
I learned that "Lisa Johnson" is on the suspect name list in South Africa.
I learned that I can make a lot happen in a little bit of time.
I lost friends in 2014. I learned how to get over it. Move on. Be okay with it. Happy with it.
I made a lot of new friends in 2014. I learned to accept people for who they are and what they do.
I learned a lot about loneliness.
I learned a lot about togetherness.
I learned how to start up a blog.
I learned a lot about driving across the country and how long I can push my body without sleep. After an Ironman!
I learned a lot about forgiveness.
I learned that if someone reveals their true character to you, listen the first time. Fool me once...
I learned a lot about friendship and trust.
I learned that Coaching is my calling.
I learned about giving back across the WORLD.
I learned how to hook up an RV and how to dump my own waste.
I learned SO MUCH about love.

I did so many amazing things in 2014 and met so many amazing people!
The full list is probably triple this one!
You were there though, I don't need to revisit it all, do I?
I am. In my head and on my Instagram. Wow, life is so good!
