If You Never Tri, You'll Never Know!

It's our life

If you've known me for longer than 5 minutes, you know I love Facebook. This is not another "I love Facebook" story though...  Well, wait, maybe it is. I don't know, I just want to talk...

Scrolling through Facebook tonight I went from reading an amazing weight loss and 70.3 training story to the loss of a pet, to the birth of a baby. Life.

It has me thinking how incredible it is that we get to share each others lives like this. I felt things reading these posts. I FELT THINGS. I was excited and inspired, joyed one moment and in tears with empathy the next, heartbroken. I find it so empowering that we can learn so much about one another on Facebook; that we can share so many experiences and feelings. It's almost overwhelming.

Have you ever heard of an empathetic person? We are also known as thin skinned or sensitive... But the truth is and real world definition, we can see the world, feel the world, understand the world in almost a sixth sense. (and by "world" I mean people)... I don't know, it's kind of weird and hard to explain I guess. I feel excited with your excitement, pain with your pain, sick with your sick, and love with your love. It's pretty cool and kinda scary at the same time. Feelings aren't something you can just turn off. So if I'm on FB and reading your life, I'm feeling what you're feeling. And scrolling through...that's a whole lot of FEEL.

Anyway, I don't know where I'm going with this. Again, I just wanted to talk. Share a bit of my feel with you. Keeping it real? Relationships, travels, training, jokes, suggestions, celebrations, requests... It's our life. And it's pretty spectacular. All with a scroll of my finger.
