6 and 15 Weekly Accountability

I am 6 weeks from Puerto Rico 70.3. I have no time goals and no expectations. I think this one is going to be all about the adventure and the experience. I mean, I'm racing in Puerto Rico!! How cool is that!? But for real, I need to hit some serious training. I'm also 15 weeks from Ironman Texas. This weather has got to get it together...

Monday, Feb 2, 2015 - met with an athlete at 5am. Strength training!! It was a chilly and HECTIC day. In and out of RV service, running errands, meetings, and figuring out #RVLife... Ended the night at RNT's fun run but no run for me. Not yet. Doc on Weds!!

Tuesday, Feb 3, 2015 - an AMAZING start to the day. There's nothing like waking up with magic. I can't even fully describe the happy that surrounded my Tues early a.m. Headed to spin...
1 hour on SEABEE base. I wasn't impressed by the instructors instructing skills.

Wednesday, Feb 4, 2015 - 5am at Planet Fitness for a nice 20minute elliptical warm up and hit arms and chest supersets. Spent the day in Slidell making magic and added a 1,000 yard time trial at CrossGates with Page and a 1 hour spin class. I got my knee looked at today too. Confirmed bone spurs behind my knee cap. What does this mean for me? It's no big deal - promise! Going to get an injection to get me through PR70.3 then a very non-abravise microscopic surgery to smooth out the patella.

Thursday, Feb 5, 2015 - a day of errands + knee injection. Hey, it didn't hurt!! Wrapped up the day with a 1,500 yard swim at the Nat with TOA athletes. I can't wait to run!!

Friday, Feb 6, 2015 - Worked at RNT today. Big Mardi Gras night tomorrow...

Saturday, Feb 7, 2015 - a.m. Planet Fitness fun! 1 hour of cardio and 30 minutes of weights. Worked at the shop again and then Mardi Gras FUN!!

Sunday, Feb 8, 2015 - 3 hour bike ride for 50 miles with Team TOA.

Next week is going to be TOUGH...
