"Some people care too much. I think it's called love."
Why does every conversation lately have to be a great lesson in life? Or maybe I'm just a little too deep lately? I think that's what happens when your world starts to change though, you see, think, feel, reach deeper. Which may be why folks are so scared of change...??? Deep is intimidating; it's serious!
See, every conversation - DEEP.
Anyway, after another "great lesson in life" conversation, I thought about sweet Pooh and Piglet, chatting on the tree stump. Pooh always full of so much wisdom. And love. That dang bear, he just wants his honey. Just let him be happy with his honey. Little lovable shit.
Love. Sweet, scary, simple but oh so complex LOVE.
No rhyme. No reason. Unexplainable, undefinable, imperfectible.
Just love.
I miss Winnie the Pooh. Can we get a modernized remake? I think the world needs a few Pooh reminders.
A few more favorites:
“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
“Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.”
“When you wake up in the morning, Pooh," said Piglet at last, "what's the first thing you say to yourself?"
"What's for breakfast?" said Pooh. "What do you say, Piglet?"
"I say, I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?" said Piglet.
Pooh nodded thoughtfully. "It's the same thing," he said.
