Creole Bagelry

Untitled

Locally owned and operated! I love it!!
And recommended by my buddy Tim, it was a must for lunch!

When I try a new place I always ask the employees, "What would YOU order?" Not everyone's favorite necessarily, but what would you order for yourself!? We went back and forth about some menu favorites and even though the St Charles Chicken struck my fancy and the young lady loved the Tangy Turkey, we both agreed on the Salmon Soul...

Salmon Soul: Sliced, smoked salmon, cream cheese, red onion, capers & sliced tomato, served on a poppy seed bagel. I replaced the poppy seed bagel with an onion bagel (great alternative!!).

The bagel was fresh and soft but with the perfect bagel chew. You know what I mean if you've ever been to New York. A thick layer of cream cheese and lots of toppings! Although, I would have liked more capers. Despite, it was a perfect combination of flavor and fullness in my mouth!!

Served with a pickle spear and coleslaw, this is was a great lunch!
I highly recommend you give it a taste. I know I'll be back!! (especially for the cranberry almond bagel!!)
