Accountability: week 2 complete moving into race week...
Monday, Sept 21, 2015:
My last week ended in exhaustion from Rhino Run. Totally worth it, but I'm off. Way off. And had to work today AND had my braces taken off so I am just off and off...
Luckily I got a solid 3.25 miles in in 29mins. The rest of my workouts are short and fast. I'm in it to win it. Okay, not win...but finish strong!! ;)
Tuesday, Sept 22, 2015:
2 hour and 10 minute bike ride + a 60 minute run brick. The bike was eh, windy. But the run felt great!! Rocked 9:30min miles. I can't wait to run in the cooler weather of Spain.
I'm really needing a confidence swim. And I wish I was faster on the bike. In June I did a 5:25 100 miler. I lost it and it makes me sad. Dang travels of fun!! I'll work on some speed this winter. No matter my finish time, I'm fired up for this European adventure!!
Commence the packing!
Wednesday, Sept 23, 2015:
I would have preferred open water, but I knew I wanted at least one more 4000 meter (2.5 mile) swim in before leaving for Spain. And phew, I got it!! I swam it in 1 hour and 36 minutes. I hope to complete IMBar in less than 1:30. I got on the spin bike for a 25 minute HIIT session following the swim. I spent the rest of the day at Dauphin Island helping make decisions regarding a triathlon. I want you to think upscale, destination, first class event. It's going to be amazing!!...
Thursday, Sept 24, 2015:
I spent HOURS packing Tuesday and ended up not being packed. What the!? My wheels are ready to go and some things are packed snug around them. But my bike! Still not broken down...
And today is already a nightmare of no time.
No workouts today but everything is ready to travel.

Today was a day of adventure. Trying to find our way and recover from jet lag. We also did a bike tour of the city. Amazing!!
