Week 9/20 Ironman Kona


Monday, July 22, 2019 - 1000 yard swim + 30min bike + 2 mile run. I got caught in a bit of rain, but felt good to get a short and strong session in. Now, I HAVE to work!! Other happenings: busted an entire bottle of wine on the garage floor, hung out w/gma and gpa, wine break w/Billy and Cheryl's for some adult chatter, and as mentioned, tons of work today.

Tuesday, July 23 - maybe too much wine last night, slept until almost 9. Yikes!! But today is an official rest day so I'll get some work on the farm in...
Finished putting all the tri stuff away in the barn so got in a sweaty strength session. Otherwise, work and grandma today!
REST DAY

Wednesday, July 24 - out the door early for a 20min bike and 15min run. Easy and quick!! The rest of my day was spent with dentists (plural!) and a quote of $5,000 to get things fixed. Momma. Mia.

Thursday, July 25 - with mom: 20mins swim (5min warm up, 5 x 50 fast and furious, 5mins cool down), 20min bike w/1mins sprint intervals, and a 15min run (walked 2mins w/mom)
SWIM + BIKE + RUN

Friday, July 26 - Happy Anniversary to my mom and Bob!! + a rest day. I'm ready to rock n roll on Sunday!! Meanwhile, back home, in Italy, Luca's parents are staying for the weekend and I'm so envious. I miss home ~home is where my Luca is~ I need to rethink this whole summer thing.
REST DAY

Saturday, July 27 - to Delaware for race check in and a quick swim. So freaking tired today; I can't WAIT to sleep tonight!!
