If You Never Tri, You'll Never Know!

Today ~ It's Time to Live

How great that I called the Dayton VA this morning, got transferred to their system, AND got seen by Women's Health all in a few hours!?!? Is that a VA world record!? Someone call the Guiness!
In Biloxi, I scheduled an appointment in February (ish) and got scheduled for DECEMBER! That's not an exaggeration! So, that errand is done.

I also wasted an hour of my life at Verizon trying to get a SIM card. Guess what I walked out without? I ended up with a Walmart burner phone. I feel like such a thug!
But hey, I've got calls, texts, and data now. After mom couldn't get in touch with me for hours after Jake's surgery, she insisted.

Jake is recovering well. He slept long and hard today ~ gotta love pain pills! And he's rocking this t-shirt like a boss. Jamie is recovering well also and trying to wrap his brain around his short future. It's time to live. I'll visit him tomorrow; time was too short today. We're going to figure it out together.

Brainstorm time (bear with me):
What's the #1 place you've always wanted to visit?
Who is someone you've always wanted to meet?
What do you love doing that you're not doing?
What do you want to accomplish?
What do you want to be remembered by?
Top 5 ridiculous things that you would do right now (think, dance in the rain, eat a whole ice cream cake, etc)?
Quote your life:
What is your favorite memory of (each person in your life)?
What do you love the most about life?
What are you most scared of in facing death?
Who inspires you the most in life?
What do you think you should eat that you're not eating?
What in life really makes you think?
What in life really brings out your creativity?
What physical exercise really gets your heart going and gets you excited, but you're not doing?
What gives you goosebumps?
What are you most proud of?

I'm going to make something out of this. With my brother. I'm not sure what yet. Maybe a memoir, maybe a video. Maybe even an adventure... something. A legacy for his girls. All of us.
