Operation Vertical Bikes
I love watching ideas come to life! Landing on a bigger pad, the wheels started turning...
Operation Vertical Bikes comes to life...
The Space:

The moment I saw this space I knew the bicycles had a home.
The Plan:![Untitled](https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4410/36776021053_70d900afac_z.jpg)
I rough drafted my ideas to help Luca understand what my mind was seeing. We talked it through and knew exactly what to do!!
The Materials:

One 2x4, five hooks, and misc (screws, brackets, drill bit, wall protector)
The Work:

![Untitled](https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4452/37189049310_c773ac7b77_z.jpg)
With Luca's parents coming to town, it was the perfect moment to borrow tools and hands...
Final:

Five bikes, two trainers, minimal space required!
Total Cost: 70 Euro (wood and hooks were most of the expense at 22euro and 25euro. The back drop, to protect the wall, is a plastic tablecloth). Oh, and only 4 holes in the wall (minimal collateral damage!!). You can be sure I'll get up there and paint it too!

As you can see, we still have room for a guest bed (so you're invited!!) and a study area. We are so proud of our space saving project :D

From space to placed.
Tune in next time for 'Where Do I Put All These Shoes !?' :O
