Final Week to IMWI

Sunday, Sept 4 - Sunday Fun Day with Team TOA. We swam open water, 2000 meters. We biked 38 miles (just over 2 hours), and I ran 1 mile while the team knocked out 30 minutes. A cold beer, handful of dill pickle chips, and burgers with new friends. Jake and I played the rest of the afternoon.

Monday, Sept 5 - Happy Labor Day!! Errands and a movie.
REST DAY

Tuesday, Sept 6 - an early morning meeting in Stone County then hit the gym for a 650 yard swim, 25 minutes on the spin bike, and 15 minute treadmill run ~ all just quick speed work to keep the muscles moving. I'm ready to head to Wisconsin! I wish I would have booked my trip for today...
Despite, dinner with Amy to top off the day <3

Weds, Sept 7 - to the gym batman! 30 minute continuous swim. I was going to go ahead and do my bike and run for tomorrow today but forgot my shoes. DOH!! I arrive in WI early tomorrow anyway so I'll check out Madison ;)

Thurs, Sept 8 - early early morning to fly to Wisconsin. Hotel and packet pick up. Oh and I'm totally an Uber pro now!!
REST DAY

Friday, Sept 9 - biked about 20mins, bike tune up and lube, checked out swim, transition, expo, etc.

Sat, Sept 10 - REST all day :D And bike and gear drop off.

One thing I didn't do for this race ~ a pre-onsite swim. I think I'm going to be okay though.
Tomorrow is game day. Standby for a fun race report!!
