Accountability: 18 Weeks
Monday, Jan 24, 2016 - short swim, 1,350 meters + calisthenics and ab work. I should have swam longer. I just didn't have it today. Ran 30 minutes with Team TOA Elite later that night.
SWIM
RUN
Tuesday, Jan 25, 2016 - got my shot first thing this morning then added a 90 minutes bike ride (1 hour with JG) for almost 26 miles.
BIKE
Weds, Jan 26, 2016 - worked at the shop today. Planks and push-ups.
NONE
Thurs, Jan 27, 2016 - 90 mins on the spin bike at the gym + 30 minute calisthenics workout and more planks and push-ups.
BIKE
Friday, Jan 28, 2016 - picked up another day at the shop but not until I swam 3,000 meters in 1 hour.
SWIM
Sat, Jan 29, 2016 - 10 miles with Team TOA Elite in Biloxi. 1:42:42.
RUN
Sunday, Jan 30, 2016 - 2 hour and 40 minute bike with Team TOA - 43 miles. A beautiful beautiful day and I felt strong (even though my speed is still low) and HAPPY.
BIKE
If you haven't noticed, I'm taking it easy on my run. I'm just trying to save my knee a bit as the visco shot continues to do its job. I still feel the pain but it's not really pain, it's just there. An annoying discomfort. If that makes sense. The good news is I can limit my runs to 2 a week and still feel strong through my long runs. I will pick up one more day a week after the New Orleans marathon.
