If You Never Tri, You'll Never Know!

Accountability: 16 Weeks

I'm really going to focus my efforts on my bike this week...
Coaching my athletes I always do focus weeks or theme weeks. I'm not going to lay off the other two disciplines but I am going to really strive to hit multiple bike workouts!!

Monday, Feb 8, 2016: 1 hour and 15 mins on the spin bike + 30 minutes of calisthenics and ab work + Monday fun run with Team TOA Elite - 23 minutes for 2.5 miles

Tuesday, Feb 9, 2016: 4,000 meter swim in 1:33. I was scheduled for 3,800 but I couldn't stop there. It was necessary to make it to 4,000. My last 1,000 was quite slow but I'm feeling so confident in my swim.

Wednesday, Feb 10, 2016: long bike - 50 miles. Which ended up being longer than I wanted but we had serious chill and wind. Biked with Paul and Linda. And guess what wrapped up Wednesday? Skyline Chili. It's pretty much my favorite and David sent me some. SCORE!!

Thursday, Feb 11, 2016: Happy Birthday to my beautiful Grandma!! I swam a 1,000 meter time trial and hit it in just over 20 minutes. I'd like to see 1,000 complete at 18 or less minutes. It's okay, I'm feeling stronger every swim! I also did a calisthenic workout and 20 mins on the elliptical climber thingy (still avoiding mid week runs)...

Sunday, Feb 14, 2016: I'm shooting out for another bike today!!
Nope. I napped today. Napped!?! What gives!!?? I obviously needed it and ended up with a rest day. I'm okay with that. Sunday's might turn out to be a weekly rest day. Especially if I always hit my long bike through the week.
