Craving Routine #accountability

Monday, April 2, 2018 - 40min run (about 3.5 miles). I paused my watch for a snow picture and forgot to restart. AHH!!

Tuesday, April 3, 2018 - we knew today was the day and it was storming outside. So I waited. My brother died at 8:31pm. I wish I had some valiant beautiful thing to say here but I'm a bit numb.

Wednesday, April 4, 2018 - recovering.

Thursday, April 5, 2018 - so excited to spin and swim today. Mom and I ventured to the Vandalia Rec (what a place!!) for a little under an hour spin class + 2000 yard swim. And what a great swim I had too!! We followed that up with some Skyline Chili. Because, YES! Guess what officially starts Monday? Ironman France training ~ 20 weeks baby!!

Friday, April 6, 2018 - a short 20min run w/hill intervals.

Saturday, April 7, 2018 - 5k obstacle course at OSU w/mom. An evening w/friends.

Sunday, April 8, 2018 - another rough morning. Sensory overload. People overload. Anxious to return to routine, my loves, and home.

Each week feels like it's worse than the last. I'm truly so anxious to get back home and back into a routine. Tomorrow begins official 20 weeks to Ironman France and I really want a strong race. I have my plan in place, I'm ready.
Patience patience and then HARD WORK ahead of me...
