Accountability - Virtual Challenges, Team TOA Virtual, and Luca's Birthday
Got some exciting news on the work front so my days are FILLED with tasks. But my training sessions are key to my survival! So this week, I'm taking on two IMVR challenges (the Ventum and the Mark Allen challenge). Followed by the IMVR5 this weekend...
Monday, April 27, 2020 - 40min run for 3.5 miles (tired legs!!) + 60mins on the KickR (climbs) which accounted for MA challenge and Ventum. Long walk with Jake too!
RUN + BIKE
Tuesday - all the work today, no time for play! Jake, "Please stop working and play with me."
REST DAY
Wednesday - 30mins run for 2.7 miles (still those tired legs!) + 50mins on the trainer + 10mins more on trainer.
RUN + BIKE
Thursday - holy cow you guys, I pulled a NECK muscle this morning upon waking up. I totally knew while it was happening too, it was like slow motion. I managed a 30min session on the KickR + 10more mins to hit my IMVR challenge goals for the day, but YIKES! Later, a 25min
BIKE + Run/WALK
Friday - Happy May!! Tomorrow is Luca's birthday so today is cake making day... Still pulled off another 30min bike on the KickR and a 40min
BIKE + Run/WALK
Saturday, May 2, 2020 - Happy Birthday to my darling Luca!!!
REST DAY
Sunday - 5k run. That's it. I'm feeling a little burnt out this week... It's been a very busy week trying to organize a multitude of projects (work, Team TOA, Luca's birthday + training and daily life).
RUN 3.1 miles
Challenges completed: Mark Allen. That's it. The Ventum - my 2nd bike ride never counted and I did not want to do another 60mins on the trainer to work it out. And we decided to forego the VR5 once I realized we had so many other things to accomplish.
