If You Never Tri, You'll Never Know!

Welcome March

Monday, March 1, 2021 - hello March! I'm happy to welcome March. Yeah, we've been struggling with this pandemic for over a year now (officially) but spring is around the corner, I'm 2 months from seeing my love, and I don't know, I'm just a fan of March.

HIIT Session

Tuesday, March 2 - dad came over for dinner - chili on cornbread waffles. Wowzers! If you haven't you need to. Everyone has a something that goes with chili. Buttered crackers, grilled cheese, cornbread, rice, even pasta... I'm sure you're family has a something that is always made with chili. Ours was always cornbread - on the side. I decided to make the cornbread as waffles and serve them UNDER the chili - some really thick crock pot chili. It was killer.

SWIM 2,000 yards

Wednesday, March 3 - really hard day. A few sips too many of wine probably didn't help but I just beat myself up all day. I did not work out. I should have; it probably would have made me feel better.  no training

Thursday, March 4 - 4 year -Living in Italy- anniversary!! And I'm in the states, HAAA! I'm also on my way to Columbus. Not ready for a reveal yet (plus it's going to be a surprise for Luca) but let's just say I'm having something from my past removed. no training

Friday, March 5 - no training  and I don't know what happened to today!?

Saturday, March 6 - pick em up, put em down, burn em - we cleared sticks on the farm today. We have a creek with woods that sort of line the rear of the property. In preparation for spring and mowing, it's time to get the ground cleaned up. Cheryl and I worked for about 4.5 hours clearing one side and building fires like boss babes!! no training, but

FARM WORK

Sunday, March 7 - and today I grabbed that long run. Up a mile from last week with 7 miles in the bank. I'm determined to build my mileage back up; I really feel SO good when I'm running.
