If You Never Tri, You'll Never Know!

Change is Overdue! #accountability

I'm telling you, it works!! Accountability is back with a vengeance! And I'm on a mission!!

Luca and I have gotten carried away with what we're putting in our bodies.
And I want to see change. I've put on too many pounds since moving to Italy and it's time for that change.

If all goes as planned, I'm racing Kona in October (fingers toes and eyes still crossed for the big announcement in February) and I want to be at my best. I also don't want to be a miserable cow. So not only will we see body changes, we're going to see attitude and behavior changes!!

So, HERE WE GO!!...

It's a new year. A new me!! (or a return to the HAPPY HEALTHY me!!)

Monday: up early and on the trainer for a 1 hour sweat-fest. Stocked up on veggies, ran some errands, and scrubbed my house from top to bottom. Spent the afternoon working, veggie dinner w/Luca, walk w/Jake, and a quiet night to an early bed.

Tuesday: up early and on the trainer for a 1 hour sweat-fest. After boiled eggs and turkey sausage, busy morning working. Went to Camp Darby w/a friend and her hubby for some American grocery fun. Worked into the evening, a seafood party for dinner, and a quiet night w/my loves.

Wednesday: up early and on the trainer for a 50minute sweat-fest. Boiled eggs and turkey sausage + some Adoption Choices for breakfast. Work continued through the day and before I knew it, I was well into the evening. Walk, dinner and bed!

Thursday: 3,000 meter swim. I set out for 2000 but had something to prove I guess. It's always good to know I can still swim 3,000. And I felt so good and strong! It's amazing to know that when I started all this, I didn't even know HOW to swim. Worked all day + a nice 30 minute walk and play w/Jake and Luca. Worked into the evening while Luca cooked dinner.

Friday: 1 hour on the trainer to start my day followed by ST. Work work work following...
I'm a little aggravated with myself. One cocktail turned into too many and before we knew it, well, the night was wasted. Not so "wasted" because it was date night with my lovey. But I feel a shit for having too many calories. So. Tomorrow is a new day.

Saturday: a yucky morning. Both outside and me. Ugh, again, disappointment w/my choices last night. Despite, I set out for a 4 miler while my lovey ran a mountain. A lazy(ish) afternoon at home cleaning, homework for lovey, work for me, and Jake time.
RUN

Sunday: a much better (feeling) morning!! Hit the road with Emma for a 28 mile bike. We just took it easy and played catch up. A real life outside bike ride, YAY!
