Painting Rhino's

How do you get your friends to paint rhino's for you?

You cook them dinner and you LIE.

Okay, so I didn't really lie LIE, I just made it sound a whole lot easier than it really was. I kinda sorta made it sound like we were painting little rhino's (like made out of porcelain or wood) or some paint by number type rhino's. Not that they'd have to find a picture and actually PAINT it. From scratch. On a canvas. Hee hee hee...

So first I buttered them up with adult beverages...
Then I filled their bellies with yummy Asian noodles and egg rolls.
Then I busted out the canvases and paint and revealed our goal for the night! 6 original hand painted rhino pictures ~to be used as our top prizes for the Rhino Run.
"You tricked us!!" ~but you love me.

We all did a quick search on our phones, picked our rhinos, and got to painting.

I'm SUPER proud of our paintings. They turned out SO perfect. So unique and fun and original. This is exactly what I had in mind when I asked my friends to help.

They also each seem to represent the painter. Which is really neat to me because a bunch of girlfriends and I did a BYOB paint party and each painted mermaids. An instructor walks ya through the painting and even though they're all the same, they're each SO different. And what was crazy was everyone's mermaid kinda looked like them (or at least represented them). Maybe I'm an art nerd, but I think that's pretty cool. I like seeing who we are revealed in our art.

So...what do you think? And can you guess who painted which rhino !?
And thank you SO much David, Tish, Jg, and Leah for helping with these awards **big smiles**
